Python Developer - Equities & Credit Derivatives

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Python applications supporting equities and credit derivatives trading desks.
• Build and maintain libraries, infrastructure, and automation tools for pricing, risk, and P&L reporting.
• Collaborate with quantitative analysts and traders to implement models into production systems.
• Integrate with market data feeds, order management systems, and risk platforms.
• Ensure compliance with SDLC standards, documentation, and testing frameworks.
• Optimize performance for Real Time trading and risk calculations.

• Experience:
  
  6+ years in financial services technology, Strong proficiency in Python (data structures, multithreading, performance optimization).
• Experience with equity derivatives (options, futures, structured products) and credit derivatives (CDS, indices, tranches).
• Knowledge of quantitative finance concepts: pricing models, risk metrics (Greeks, VaR), and P&L attribution.
• Familiarity with financial libraries (Num Py, Pandas, Sci Py) and visualization tools.
• Database experience (SQL, No
  
  SQL) for storing and retrieving market/trade data.
• Strong understanding of market data feeds (Bloomberg, Reuters, ICE).

• Exposure to C++ or Java for performance-critical components.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Dev Ops tools (Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines).
• Prior work in global markets technology teams.

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related quantitative discipline.
