This is not a traditional sales engineering role. As a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) you will embed within client environments to solve high‑stakes problems with no textbook solutions. You own the "last mile" of our product’s impact, delivering technology that transforms how users confront financial crime, supply chain disruption, and national security threats. Your day may involve architecting data pipelines, writing production Python, or briefing C‑level executives, all while operating with extreme ownership and relentless pursuit of real‑world value.

• Embed and Build:
  Deploy directly into clients’ technical ecosystems, collaborate with stakeholders to understand workflows, and design, build, and ship production‑grade code (Python, SQL, API integration).
• Own the Outcome:
  Lead the entire technical lifecycle of strategic deployments—from discovery and architectural design to implementation and operationalization—ensuring tangible, mission‑critical value.
• Be the Tip of the Spear:
  Serve as the primary technical authority, leading deep‑dive workshops, debugging complex systems, and providing trusted, hands‑on advice on leveraging Sayari’s platform.
• Engineer Solutions for the Mission:
  Translate ambiguous high‑level requirements into concrete technical solutions, architect scalable data models and workflows, and prototype AI/ML models as needed.
• Shape Our Product:
  Bridge front‑line needs with core engineering teams, translating operational feedback into the next generation of the platform.

• 5+ years in a client‑facing technical role (Forward Deployed Engineer, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Technical Consulting, etc.).
• Strong proficiency in Python and related data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas).
• Expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
• Hands‑on experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to bridge code and mission with clarity to engineers, analysts, and senior leaders.
• Robust problem‑solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguous scenarios.
• Relentless drive and intellectual curiosity, comfortable adapting to new environments and learning on the fly.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field strongly preferred.
• Focus on multinational corporations and financial institutions.
• Must be able to work in the London office 2–3 days a week.

• Experience with AI, including prompting large language models (LLMs) or using their APIs to build analytical solutions.
• Building and deploying solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of the modern data stack (Snowflake, Databricks) and workflow orchestrators (Airflow, Prefect).
• Familiarity with graph data technologies (Neo4j, Tiger Graph) and related query languages.
• Exposure to machine learning applications in NLP or entity resolution.
• Passion for high‑stakes domains such as AML/Financial Crime, Supply Chain Risk, or National Security.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Target base salary: £120,000 – £135,000 plus 15% quarterly bonus and equity. Final offers consider location, market, experience, and internal equity.
