Green Project is looking for a Tech Lead (Senior Software Engineer) to lead a small, high‑impact engineering team building features that power Engage
50 and Product
50 — the products helping enterprises measure and reduce their carbon footprint. You’ll set the technical direction, mentor others, and use AI‑assisted development to multiply the team’s speed and impact. This is a hands‑on leadership role with real product ownership and a clear mission: accelerate the world’s transition to net‑zero.

• Lead a small, fast‑moving team building features across Engage
  50 and Product
  50.
• Set technical direction, uphold engineering standards, and ensure high‑quality delivery.
• Balance hands‑on coding with mentoring, design reviews, and coordination across product and design.
• Work closely with leadership to translate business goals into technical roadmaps.
• Drive adoption of AI‑assisted development to boost productivity and creativity across the team.
• Partner daily with product managers, designers, and other engineers to turn ideas into shipped features — and help shape the technical culture of the company as we scale.

• 5+ years of engineering experience
• Deep expertise in Go or React (and a willingness to stretch across both)
• Proven experience leading projects or small teams
• Strong technical judgment and architectural understanding
• Prior startup experience and comfort with ambiguity
• Motivation to build meaningful software for sustainability
• Experience scaling teams in a startup environment is a plus
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, and monitoring are a plus
• Exposure to climate, ESG, or sustainability domains is a plus

The base pay range for this position is £85,000 – £100,000 annually + discretionary bonus; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
