Mid-Level Full Stack Developer

Overview

Mid-Level Software Engineer (React / Type Script / Node) — Up to £60,000 | Hybrid (3 days onsite).

We're looking for a mid-level software engineer to join a small, stable product team working on an internal design and animation tool used widely across the business. This is a proper mid-level role. You'll be expected to own pieces of work, think through problems yourself, and contribute beyond just picking up tickets.

You'll be working mainly on the front end, building features in React using Type Script . Type Script is used everywhere, so you'll need to be comfortable with it or able to pick it up quickly.

There is also a backend element. You don t need to be a Node expert, but you do need some real exposure. If you ve never touched backend code, this won t be the right role.

The product itself is visual and design-led. You ll be working closely with designers and product, and turning designs into interactive, animated functionality.

• Around 3-4 years of commercial experience
• Solid React experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Type Script
• Exposure to Node.js and backend fundamentals
• Someone who takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do
• Curious by nature, side projects, Git Hub activity, experimenting outside work is a plus
• Figma experience

• Engineering team of around a dozen people
• Product-led environment with designers and product owners embedded
• Work is done in small squads that change depending on the project
• Low turnover and good team stability

Hybrid working is offered, but 3 days per week onsite is required
. The product is used heavily internally and collaboration in person matters.

Salary

• £50,000 - £60,000
