Shape the future of performance at Akamai

With your Kubernetes expertise, you can design and amplify the scale and performance of Akamai s Object Storage Product to meet customer demands. You will be responsible for evolving the scale, performance, security, and capabilities of our managed Kubernetes platform. You will provide a simple and seamless experience developers have come to expect from Linode.

• Developing features and product enhancements
• Advocating and encourage cloud-native technologies and architectural approaches
• Contributing towards building the roadmap for stable and scalable cloud-native offerings
• Enabling a simple and seamless way for our customers to deploy and operate their Kubernetes clusters
• Developing best practices, knowledge sharing, and mentoring

• Have deep experience building Kubernetes Platform Clusters with scale and Cloud Native technologies
• Have advanced knowledge of Kubernetes concepts such as Operator creation, Cluster API, and Container Network Interfaces
• Have experience with Container Runtimes (e.g. docker, containers, etc)
• Demonstrate significant experience with Linux, Go, Python
