Software Developer, Java Developer, Software Engineer

Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will lead the design and development of robust, scalable backend systems using Java and modern frameworks. You’ll play a key part in architectural decisions, mentor junior developers, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality enterprise-grade software solutions.

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-performance Java applications
• Architect scalable backend solutions using Spring/Spring Boot and microservices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, Dev Ops) to define technical solutions
• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and services
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning
• Drive best practices in code quality, testing, and CI/CD pipelines
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior developers
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability
• Contribute to continuous improvement and best practices

• Proven experience as a Java Developer (ideally 8+ years)
• Strong knowledge of Java 17+ and OOP principles
• Expertise in Spring/Spring Boot frameworks
• Expertise in RESTful APIs, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes and database technologies (SQL/No
  
  SQL)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Excellent mentoring and communication skills

• Experience of working in Finance industry
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks (React, Angular)
• Background in performance tuning and distributed systems
