This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Senior Engineer who wants to grow in a high-performing, forward-thinking business.

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll play a central role in building and scaling the systems that power their insurance platform. You'll focus on developing Python-based cloud microservices (FastAPI preferred), contributing to the architecture of resilient, high-performance systems, and collaborating with a cross-functional team to deliver features at pace.

This is a hands-on engineering position with plenty of scope to influence technical direction, improve processes, and grow your expertise in distributed systems.

• Design, develop, and maintain Python microservices (FastAPI) running in production.
• Take ownership of features end-to-end, from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Write high-quality, testable code with a focus on scalability and resilience.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver quickly.
• Contribute to evolving architecture, tooling, and CI/CD practices.

• Strong background in Python development (FastAPI, Flask, or Django).
• Good knowledge of microservices, APIs, and cloud-based infrastructure.

• Solid engineering fundamentals - data structures, OOP, debugging, and testing.
• Collaborative, curious, and eager to experiment with AI tools to improve productivity.
