To deliver high-quality social work services to adults, families, and carers in Hammersmith and Fulham, ensuring compliance with the Care Act 2014
. The Senior Social Worker will assess and intervene in complex cases, supporting individuals and communities while promoting independence, choice, and safety.

• Provide professional social work services to adults, their families, and carers in line with statutory requirements
• Engage with individuals, families, and communities to assess needs and implement interventions that promote choice, control, and independence
• Manage complex situations, balancing support with risk management, collaborating with senior colleagues and professionals
• Develop support plans using a strengths-based approach, considering family, friends, and community resources
• Lead discussions regarding Personal Budgets and Direct Payments, supporting informed decision-making and ownership of plans
• Proven experience as a social worker, ideally in community response or adult social care
• Sound knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and relevant statutory guidance
• Strong assessment, risk management, and intervention skills
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities
