Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a qualified and reliable Air Conditioning Engineer to carry out service maintenance works on client's retail and office sites in and around London and Berkshire. The successful candidate will provide a professional service to our client working on a varied selection of air conditioning systems.

• Attend and complete PPMs & reactive works as scheduled including breakdowns.
• Have install experience (retrofit/system replacements).
• Troubleshooting / fault finding on all A/C systems.
• Produce quotations for works / remedials following service visits.
• Work on splits, VRFs, AHUs and DX systems and some central plant.
• Be able to work alone and with other team members when necessary.
• Complete all FGAS paperwork on sites and update logbooks in client premises.
• Be part of the Out of Hours Call Out rota.
• C&G 2079 Cat 1 (essential)
• NVQ Level 3 or similar (essential)
• F-Gas
• Good mechanical & electrical background
• Knowledge of building fabric and experience in carrying out basic fabric reactive repairs
• Sound understanding of Health & Safety obligations with regard to maintenance activities
• Must be prepared to work out of hours when required and on a scheduled callout rota
• Have good communication and organisation skills
• UK Driving Licence
• Good understanding of IT packages including Outlook, Word etc
