Overview
Day Shift Engineer - Client Direct - Banking Environment - London - £44,000 + bonus + AP Training
Benefits- Up to £44,000 + 10% bonus
- £750 HV / £750 LV or £750 Mechanical AP payment
- ~£3,000 call out allowance after site familiarisation (1 in 7 call out + 2x hourly rate if called out)
- Overtime available at 2x rate on weekdays and weekends

- Day Shift (10 hour shifts)
- 3 on, 1 off, 3 on, 3 off, 4 on, 7 off, 4 on, 3 off
- Later start on Saturdays & Sundays
- Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance & Reactive maintenance is carried out to all client assets through operation of Planned Preventative Maintenance System.
- Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain the plant in serviceable order at all times.
- Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance of the above plant.
- Ensure that comprehensive maintenance records are completed in the form of job sheets.
- Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared, reviewed and utilized for all tasks (PPM and reactive) carried out to ensure safe working practices.
- Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast's, Control panel, Power distribution
- Emergency lighting
- Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
- Chillers - Re-set
- Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
- Monitor mechanical plant
- Pumps, motors
- BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Col ds)
- Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
- Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
- Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
- Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
- Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
- Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
- Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.
- Escort specialist subcontractors
- Electrically or Mechanically qualified Level 3 / HNC / HND
- You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
- Will need to pass security clearance
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- An understanding of critical plant:
Chillers, HVAC, UPS systems, Cooling Towers etc - Excellent customer skills
- Ideally multi skilled
- High Voltage - Experience / Qualification - Current
