Skilled Fabric Technician (London)
WPS is seeking a skilled Fabric Technician to join our team on the prestigious Landmark contract in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and experienced technician to play a key role in delivering high‑quality building maintenance services across a high‑profile site.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance tasks across the site (e.g., carpentry, plastering, tiling, painting & decorating).
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with health & safety regulations.
- Support other trades and assist with general building upkeep.
- Respond promptly to service requests and fault reports.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Proven experience in a similar fabric technician or multi‑skilled maintenance role.
- Strong knowledge of building fabric maintenance techniques.
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant trade (e.g., carpentry, joinery, painting & decorating).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
