Field Based Regional Account Manager

Salary £40,000-£50,000 – Plus 25k OTE

Role

Profile
  • You will be accountable for implementing a general strategy across a portfolio of key accounts in a defined geographical area.
  • Generate profitable, long‑term business through your portfolio of accounts with the main focus to increase Umbrella joiners and revenue.
  • Grow the account portfolio revenue at Net Revenue level (after rebates, referral fees and other commercials).
  • Promote and sell our Non‑Core service offerings including CIS, Parasol 360, Recruitment Finance and other partnerships.
  • Drive sales activity within the pre‑defined list of allocated accounts.
  • Work with a Client Relationship Manager (buddy‑up system) and our internal teams to service and grow your agencies/clients, operating from consultant to senior level.
  • Demonstrate, through periodic survey results, your ability to provide market‑leading support.
  • Conduct field‑based activities to sustain and grow accounts, including networking events held outside office hours.
  • The KPIs for this role are set against activity levels including face‑to‑face meetings, workshops, video calls, telephone, and email activity.

Skills and Experience Required
  • Previous experience in an account management and business development role, ideally field based.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective time management to ensure that all duties are executed in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute account plans.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to negotiate with our agency partners.
  • Experience presenting at different levels (including senior) to customers.
  • Have a positive, can‑do attitude.
