This is a full‑time on‑site position located in South East for an Area Sales Account Manager. In this role, you will develop and maintain client relationships within the construction, engineering, and infrastructure sectors. Responsibilities include managing a designated sales territory, identifying business opportunities, conducting client meetings and presentations, and ensuring customer satisfaction by providing effective site support and product expertise. You will also collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that drive business growth and meet client needs.
Qualifications- Sales and Relationship Management:
Proven experience in sales account management, customer relationship building, and achieving growth targets. Ability to identify new business leads and foster long‑term partnerships. - Industry Knowledge:
Familiarity with excavation, shoring systems, construction equipment, and site services. Understanding of temporary works design is an advantage. - Communication and Presentation:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver effective presentations and articulate technical concepts to clients. - Problem‑Solving and Negotiation:
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and negotiation skills to address client needs and create customized solutions. - Team
Collaboration:
Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, including design engineers, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution. - Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales, business, marketing, or a related field. Experience with in relevant industries like infrastructure or construction is highly desirable. - Additional
Skills:
Proficiency in CRM systems, adaptability, willingness to visit client sites regularly, and a valid UK driver’s license.
