About the role

The Account Manager – Commercial Partners will build and manage profitable relationships with Media Specialist partners, identify new business opportunities with advertisers, and develop innovative sales solutions that generate maximum revenue for JCDecaux.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to and implement agreed strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Own relationships with Specialist accounts to influence OOH market activity and proactively pitch to Specialists.
  • Deliver solution‑driven sales by extracting briefs from key clients.
  • Support diversification of the customer base across multiple Specialists and organisations.
  • Build positive relationships with colleagues to ensure smooth campaign delivery.
  • Use CRM daily to manage appointments and communications.
  • Promote JCDecaux as a brand leader and use consumer‑behaviour research tools to inform strategy.
  • Advocate wider adoption of business and commercial policies and governance to achieve strategy.
  • Focus efforts on Specialist business development and provide support to Agencies where required.
  • Understand media channel strengths, client business, and marketing objectives to influence planning decisions.
  • Transact marketplace insight between agencies and specialist teams.

  • Confident communication and presentation skills at all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong ability to explain processes and expectations clearly.
  • Rapidly maturing understanding of business, financials, products, and market challenges.
  • Self‑starter who prioritises to achieve targets and maintain client expectations.
  • Adaptable to work independently and within a team.
  • Initiative and confident decision‑making approach.
  • Strong numeracy skills with outstanding attention to detail.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and full competence with Microsoft packages.
  • Ability to interpret detailed data.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Proven sales generation, negotiation, and account management experience, preferably in digital or OOH media.
  • Experience in a campaign or deadline‑driven environment.
  • Proven ability to develop colleagues’ and customers’ understanding of processes and outcomes.
  • Experience managing delivery of customer campaigns from objective translation to booking and implementation.
  • Success in sales or account‑management processes.
  • Degree level education or equivalent.
