Luxury Watch & Fine Jewellery Valuer | Central London

Full‑Time or Part‑Time (On Site) (3‑4 days per week)

A prestigious, long‑established luxury retailer is seeking an experienced Luxury Watch and Fine Jewellery Valuer to join its expert team in London. This is an exceptional opportunity for a qualified professional who thrives in a premium environment and has a strong passion for horology.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate, detailed valuations of luxury timepieces and fine jewellery items for insurance, resale, and client documentation purposes. While a solid background in both categories is important, extensive experience in valuing high‑end watches is particularly desirable. Familiarity with leading maisons such as Patek Philippe, Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Vacheron Constantin and other top‑tier brands is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct meticulous valuations of luxury watches and fine jewellery to industry‑approved standards
  • Prepare comprehensive written valuation reports
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of market trends, brand histories, and current retail values
  • Handle items with the highest level of care, discretion, and professionalism
  • Work collaboratively with in‑house specialists to support client services
  • Support customer‑facing interactions when required – experience in direct sales or client engagement is beneficial, though not essential (optional)
About You
  • A qualified valuer with NAJ accreditation or equivalent certification
  • Proven experience in valuing luxury watches; jewellery valuation expertise also expected
  • Strong understanding of high‑end watch brands, movements, and current market dynamics
  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
  • A professional, discreet, and client‑focused approach
  • Comfortable working either full‑time or part‑time (3‑4 days per week)
What’s on Offer
  • A very strong financial package, reflecting the seniority and specialist nature of the role
  • Annual bonus scheme
  • Generous pension contributions
  • Excellent holiday entitlement
  • A supportive, highly skilled team environment
  • The opportunity to work with exceptional pieces in a respected luxury retail setting
  • Flexible working options (full‑time or part‑time)

If you are a passionate, certified valuer with deep knowledge of luxury timepieces and a desire to work with extraordinary collections, we’d love to hear from you.
