Palace Host Sales – Kensington Palace (Seasonal)

Historic Royal Palaces is the independent charity that looks after six of the most wonderful palaces in the world. This seasonal role supports the operation of the new exhibition “The Last Princesses of Punjab” at Kensington Palace.

Location: Kensington Palace, London

Contract: Seasonal, 9 March 2026 – 8 November 2026 (shorter 9 March – 13 September 2026 available)

Working hours: Full‑time and part‑time (2–5 days week, including weekends and bank holidays)

Salary: £13.85 per hour (equivalent to £27,908 per annum for 38.75 hrs/week)

• Provide the highest level of customer service and create memorable experiences for all visitors.
• Support the delivery of on‑site sales targets and KPIs for retail, admissions, membership and ticket scanning.
• Ensure retail and admissions areas are presented to the expected standards and adhere to ticketing and cash handling procedures.
• Collaborate with Palace Host Guides and Palace Hosts in the running of the palace and the visitor experience as required.

• Experience in customer service and working as part of a team.
• Strong drive for achieving sales targets and a positive, flexible approach.
• Ability to adapt style and respond to visitor needs.
• Experience in roles such as Visitor Experience Assistant, Guest Services Associate or similar is an asset.
