Overview

Position: Sales Associate (16 hours per week) at Samsonite

Location: 55 Brompton Rd, London SW3 1DP

Availability: September 2025

The Sales Associate supports the Retail Team by creating a client experience that reflects the brand, builds strong client relationships, and drives sales through outstanding service. The ideal candidate is committed to client service with an understanding and/or passion for luxury, travel, fashion, and lifestyle markets.

Responsibilities
  • In an exclusive atmosphere, introduce customers to the collection and provide expert advice.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, combining sales skills with empathy for traveling customers to drive success.
  • Handle operation and billing at the cash register.
  • Present high-quality products in an inviting manner according to guidelines.
  • Support internal events and promotions.
  • Offer advice on, and demonstration of, product features to ensure a positive shopping experience; maximize sales through product knowledge and add-ons.
  • Maintain knowledge of store layout, products, stock availability, promotions, and incentives.
  • Process transactions efficiently and in line with company procedures.
  • Be aware of after-sales service, warranties, and areas covered.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and security procedures; maintain a clean, organized store environment.
Requirements
  • Experience in retail is desirable, preferably in the premium sector.
  • Passion for selling premium products.
  • Good English language skills; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Enthusiasm for our products; a well-groomed and professional appearance.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Strong customer service orientation; capable of working under pressure; team player; target-driven; flexible.
Accountabilities
  • Customer Service/Sales:
    Advise on and demonstrate products to ensure a friendly shopping experience; maximize sales with product knowledge and add-ons.
  • Stock/Merchandising:
    Process deliveries, maintain stockrooms, assist in layouts and merchandising displays.
  • Security:
    Maintain vigilance with stock and monies; report issues to management.
  • Housekeeping:
    Maintain high store standards and daily cleaning.
  • Operations/Administrative:
    Handle inquiries and messages per procedures; assist with stock and personnel administration as directed.
  • Attendance & Appearance:
    Adhere to attendance policy; arrive early; maintain a neat appearance per dress policy.
  • Health & Safety:
    Report accidents or hazards; follow safety procedures.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    Perform duties as directed by management.
