The Role
. . As Kitchen Porter Supervisor, you will oversee the stewarding team and ensure the kitchen operates smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll work closely with the senior kitchen team to maintain impeccable standards of hygiene, efficiency, and support throughout service.. .
Key Responsibilities
.

• Supervise and coordinate the kitchen porter team during service.
• Ensure all cleaning, washing, and waste procedures are carried out efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety at all times.
• Support the kitchen brigade with basic prep and organisation when required.
• Manage equipment, dishwashers, and cleaning schedules.
• Train and motivate junior kitchen porters.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and HACCP standards.

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter Supervisor or senior KP in a busy restaurant.
• Strong work ethic and a proactive, hands-on approach.
• Ability to lead, organise, and motivate a team.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Eligible to live and work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
