An opportunity has arisen for a qualified Building Surveyor to join JLL Building Consultancy team based in Central London. The successful candidate will join a new team based in our Warwick Street office and will work with OneJLL investor clients, providing a broad range of services across varying sections. The team collaborates with Strategic Asset Management, Property and Asset Management and Sustainable Asset Services to deliver holistic, commercial advice.

• Contract Administration and Project Management of fit-out, refurbishment and repair contracts
• Undertaking Technical Due Diligence;
  Building Surveyor inspections and preparing reports
• Preparing and negotiating schedules of dilapidations
• Preparing planned preventive maintenance plans
• Providing advice across clients’ portfolios and/or single assets including “Future of Workplace” and ESG
• Undertaking Reinstatement Cost Assessments
• Defect analysis inspections and reporting
• Tenant and Landlord Licence approval works
• Assisting with co-ordination of portfolio instructions and undertaking other duties as reasonably required
• Making sustainable business links with both external and internal clients and providing professional, excellent client service at all times
• Some travel will be required in this role

• MRICS (Building Surveying) with proven experience, preferably in a commercial consultancy
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Valid driving licence
