Role Description

The Programme Coordinator will be tasked with ensuring the smooth running of all student‑related events. This will include having a full understanding of the SEO‑London law programmes; understanding the legal industry that the programme supports; how these fit into the SEO‑London organisation and using this knowledge to liaise with students and client/partner firms to run, organise and market successful events. In turn this role will be responsible for using data to run reports to show the impact of each programme.

Reporting to the Head of Law Programme, you will make recommendations for possible changes and ideas to further support the student experience. The role will also ensure a seamless and professional level of customer care to all students of the Corporate Law Programme and City Solicitors Horizons scheme.

Responsibilities
  • Day to day delivery of events: overall administration of all student events, ensuring student communication is exceptional; event management, student and partner communication, coordination of stakeholders, posting roles on opportunities pages, promoting events and managing the law commercial awareness newsletter content.
  • Student management & query handling: manage relationships with students, understand needs, resolve issues, anticipate and create strong relationships on behalf of SEO‑London; manage student query escalations and identify opportunities to improve communication, marketing or event types; manage the programme inbox where applicable; identify creative and innovative ways to connect, educate and train students; provide oversight of CV support, screening and recruitment preparation;

    attend campus events and represent SEO‑London professionally with knowledge and enthusiasm; organise mentoring and buddying allocations.
  • Quality assurance: ensure that all information relating to events and student data is managed within GDPR guidelines and is updated in Salesforce for tracking purposes; run reports to track and monitor events from the CRM.
  • Do you have the right to work in the UK? Unfortunately, at this time, we cannot provide sponsorship or consider overseas applications.
Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of experience in some of the areas listed below and a willingness to learn and develop additional skills: strong presentation skills with the ability to deliver engaging online sessions; excellent business writing and organisational skills; strong stakeholder management abilities; a keen interest in and some knowledge of an aspiring solicitor's early career journey (school and university stages); a collaborative team player with a "can‑do" attitude, able to handle requests at short notice and work under pressure;

    ability to use Teams and Zoom, including creating and managing breakout rooms; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Preferred skills: project management experience; experience with database management and data analysis, including applicant tracking systems (such as Salesforce); familiarity with Canva and digital communication platforms, including Linked In, Instagram, and Whats App.
