Strategic Communications Planner

Overview

The King’s Fund is seeking someone with a strategic mind, an eye for detail and the ability to influence internally to join us as our Strategic Communications Planner. This is a unique opportunity to step into a newly created role at the heart of one of the UK’s most influential think tanks and shape the future of health and care.

• Lead the development of integrated strategic plans that ensure we drive influence and income while aligning with our mission and values.
• Coordinate campaigns, guide decision‑making, and manage a central view of all communications and engagement activity.
• Work closely with teams across the organisation to bring cohesion, consistency, and strategic impact across our communications.
• Act as the go‑to expert for stakeholder engagement, impact reporting, and the coherence of our communication effort.
• Shape how we use data, insights, and emerging technologies—including AI—to enhance communications performance and improve audience engagement.

We’re looking for someone with strong experience in communications planning, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
