Maintenance Supervisor - Electrical Bias (HV)

Alice Rose Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor with a strong Electrical and HV bias to join a recently won commercial contract based in Cannon Street.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role on a newly mobilised site, working within a structured on-site team that includes shift engineers, a day engineer, contract support, and a Contract Manager. The role offers long-term stability, technical challenge, and clear responsibility within a professional FM environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervision and coordination of the on-site engineering team
- Acting as Duty Authorised Person (HV) whilst on duty
- Operation and monitoring of all building services systems
- Completion and oversight of PPM and reactive maintenance tasks
- Issuing permits under the Safe System of Work
- Carrying out daily site inspections and managing defects via helpdesk
- Liaising closely with the client and internal management team
- Identifying materials and ordering requirements
- Producing monthly site and performance reports
- Supporting mobilisation and development of the new contract
- BMS / control systems
- AHUs, VAVs and air conditioning plant
- Domestic water services
- Fire alarm, voice alarm, VESDA, suppression and sprinkler systems
- Generators, load banks and associated controls
- UPS systems, batteries and static switches
- Variable speed drives
- AC & DC motors (single and three phase)
- Emergency lighting
- LV switch gear and breakers
- HV systems (11kV), including transformers and VCBs (Training and familiarisation provided where required)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- HV Authorised Person
- L8 (including cooling towers)
- City & Guilds 236 Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and compliance procedures
- Previous experience supervising engineers in a commercial environment
- Good administration and organisational skills
- CAFM experience (Concept desirable)
