Overview

We are seeking an experienced HP Indigo Operator to join a busy and quality-focused digital print environment. The role is hands‑on and requires strong technical knowledge of HP Indigo presses, alongside a commitment to colour accuracy, productivity, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate HP Indigo digital presses to produce high‑quality printed work
  • Set up jobs accurately, including substrates, inks, and finishing specs
  • Monitor print quality, colour consistency, and registration throughout runs
  • Carry out routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of the press
  • Work closely with pre‑press and finishing teams to meet job requirements
  • Ensure jobs are completed to schedule and to customer specifications
  • Identify and resolve print issues efficiently to minimise downtime
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
  • Follow all health, safety, and quality procedures
Skills and Experience Required
  • Proven experience operating HP Indigo presses
  • Strong understanding of colour management and digital print processes
  • Experience printing onto a range of substrates and applications
  • Good mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced production environment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including shifts if required
Desirable
  • HP Indigo certification or manufacturer training
  • Experience commercial digital print
  • Knowledge of digital workflows and RIP software

Hours

Monday - Friday 8.00am – 4.00pm with 30 minutes lunch break.
