- A role at the heart of the business—without you, nothing moves
We’re scaling fast—hundreds of machines, multiple markets, and a production engine that never sleeps. To keep up, we need someone who makes sure parts, stock, and shipments flow like clockwork.
As the operations and supply planner for Boost inc, you will perform a crucial role in ensuring that the different departments responsible for commissioning and delivering our work interact seamlessly together so that we can deliver projects to time, with a high degree of certainty over production deadlines.
What You'll DoWorking closely and effectively with colleagues at all levels within the organisation up to and including C-level executives, you will be responsible for ensuring that staff and resources are both available, and allocated correctly.
You will:
- Lead the demand planning and scheduling of the production/assembly process on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis, setting and monitoring ambitious production KPIs and facilitating a daily resource management meeting bringing together colleagues from across departments.
- Help us to optimise the production process by identifying and removing production ‘bottlenecks’ – including scheduling conflicts and resource constraints - escalating where necessary. Lead the design and implementation of new systems and processes to improve efficiency.
- Effective management of internal inventory and stock systems, ensuring a lean running stock level is always available for production, allowing for lead-in times and supply chain disruption around key times of year and ensuring backup suppliers are available for all key components. Work with key supply partners to ensure deliveries arrive on time, optimising for cost and quality, and with the workshop team to manage the Goods In process.
- Build and manage strong relationships with colleagues, key supply partners and clients.
- Take responsibility for becoming an expert in our technology and product suite.
