Project Manager - Consulting Implementation Services

VCA Implementation Services (VIS) is an augmentation of Visa’s consultancy offering, supporting the execution and implementation of recommendations to help scale competitive advantage and operate to succeed in the digital age. We are looking for a VIS Project Manager to join the VIS Hub Team in London Paddington. The VIS Hub team is responsible for supporting and driving the successful execution for all Operational, Delivery, People and Go‑To‑Market initiatives for VIS Europe.

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of internal VIS Hub initiatives, including requirements definition, governance setup, change execution, quality assurance, and progress oversight.
• Establish governance processes for client‑facing projects, running effective governance forums, and producing high‑quality Steer Co materials for senior leadership alignment and decision‑making.

• Act as a delivery SME, working with VIS Cluster/Pod Leads to define and embed best‑in‑class delivery practices, tools, methodologies, and artefacts.
• Implement process for defining success metrics, tracking ROI, and feeding back into quality management and go‑to‑market collateral / solution development.
• Create and maintain robust, well‑governed project templates and delivery standards that ensure clarity, control, and traceability of outcomes.
• Identify and drive improvements to ways of working, championing best practice adoption across VIS.

• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across Visa and client organisations, ensuring alignment, transparency, and effective collaboration.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to enable smooth execution, remove blockers, and maintain delivery momentum.
• Understand client objectives and needs, ensuring deliverables are aligned to meaningful business outcomes.

• Deliver consistently high‑quality work, managing competing priorities effectively and maintaining exceptional standards in fast‑paced, changing environments.
• Model delivery excellence and continuous improvement behaviours, setting the tone for professionalism and accountability across programmes.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

• Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end change or transformation projects in a consulting environment.
• Strong project management skills, with practical experience in Waterfall / Agile / Hybrid methodologies, and in managing multiple work streams concurrently.
• Demonstrated ability to design and operate governance structures, produce high‑quality delivery artefacts, and confidently lead Steer Co and decision‑making forums.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, including experience engaging senior executives and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities with the ability to think strategically, remove barriers, and provide actionable solutions.
• Exceptional communication skills – articulate, audience‑aware, and able to simplify complex information.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, reprioritising quickly, and maintaining high standards in fast‑moving environments.
• Experience defining success metrics, tracking ROI, and applying data‑driven insights to guide decision‑making.
