Our client is a growing language service provider and an award-winning social enterprise working with clients across public, private and voluntary sectors, the organisation reinvests 100% of profits into a charity supporting vulnerable people in our society, combining commercial success with meaningful social impact.
This is an exciting time for the organisation and as such we are seeking an experienced and purpose-driven CEO to lead the organisation through its next phase of growth, technical innovation and impact.
Role & ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Chair of the Board, the CEO will:
- Provide visible, values-led leadership to the Senior Leadership Team and organisation
- Be accountable for operational performance and sustainable strategic development
- Drive growth of the core business with a values-led commercial focus
- Maintain a high-performing culture that attracts and motivates staff from diverse backgrounds
- Understand the organisation’s products, technology trends and competitors
- Identify and develop new commercial opportunities with robust business proposals
- Ensure financial performance, governance, risk management and compliance are maintained
- Embed continuous improvement, customer insight and innovation across services
- Build positive relationships with key stakeholders, including the parent organisation, Board and partners
- Represent the organisation externally and lead strategic development programmes
- Degree educated with significant senior leadership experience
- Track record delivering operational, technological change, financial, people, service, brand and governance outcomes
- Experience scaling organisations and leading senior teams
- Commercial and entrepreneurial focus with experience identifying opportunities and partnerships
- Experience commissioning and embedding technology-based systems
- Board-level experience including strategy, risk and compliance
- Commitment to values, ethics, diversity and inclusion
- Experience leading a Social Enterprise, subsidiary or fast-growth organisation
- Experience in the not-for-profit sector as a trustee or NED
- Up to 20% bonus
- 8% non – contributory pension contributions

- Hybrid role – 2 days per week in London with occasional travel to offices in the South-East
- Appointment subject to DBS clearance and Right to Work in the UK
