Responsibilities

  • Be proactive and innovative in developing solutions with your stakeholders and driving their implementation.
  • Recommend, educate, and enforce space policies/standards, procedures, and protocols, notify the client of customer-requested exceptions, and, as necessary, assist in developing site-specific Planning Strategies with Senior Leadership.
  • Subject Matter Expert in the client's workplace program and in using data to drive solutions that increase productivity.
  • Skilled at managing work in a hybrid environment, with a bias towards in-person client interactions.
Strategy & Planning
  • Provide strategic occupancy planning expertise.
  • Leverage a deep understanding of our client's space supply and demand to develop scenario and occupancy plans for our client's portfolio in a designated region.
  • Develop planning strategies that drive space effective projects and support the implementation of these projects.
  • Ensure the development of portfolio strategy plans across separate locations.
  • Ensure the alignment of planning with corporate guidelines and that all scenarios maximize the use of space.
  • Ability to develop block plans to convey future use of space using PowerPoint and/or graphic tools.
  • Manage the development of occupancy plans, sequencing group-level and individual moves, and resolving planning issues identified during client planning sessions.
  • Working knowledge of office design principles and trends, workplace utilization, and literacy in reading and interpreting floor plans.
  • Identify space requirements and prepare and update project status reports on actual versus projected seat demand at the building level.
  • Review and resolve planning forecast requirements, concerns, and issues.
  • Highly organized and demonstrate a high level of performance in project budgeting and scheduling.
Data collection, accuracy & reporting
  • Gather headcount forecasts and growth projections and resolve discrepancies between the numbers from all levels.
  • Manage facility audits with FM and/or 3rd parties.
  • Manage and develop space utilization methods and the presentation of utilization data.
  • Report on current supply and capacity, forecast inventory changes as required, and work with the client to reconcile any discrepancies from top-down projections.
  • Expert level data analytical skills and ability to articulate stories through data.
  • Attentive to detail and accuracy - particularly numbers and spatial creativity.
  • A working knowledge of occupancy utilization, office design principles and trends such as the mobile or collaborative workplace.
  • Responsible for updating and ensuring all data in the CAFM system is correct.
Leadership and professional skills
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Architecture, Design, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.
  • Work independently, multi-task, and manage your time to meet deadlines and deal with your team's changing necessities and requests.
  • Think strategically, simplifying the complex, seeing the big picture, and drive results.
  • Thrive on change and have an appetite for risks.
  • Have an intellectual curiosity towards digital drive, hunger for learning, and urge to meet deadlines.
