The Senior Manager, Corporate Safety & Resilience is responsible for leading and evolving enterprise-wide programs that ensure safe, secure, and resilient workplaces. This role oversees health and safety strategy, physical security operations, emergency preparedness, and business continuity across a diverse global portfolio, with a focus on scalable standards and thoughtful local adaptations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Safety & Risk Management- Design and implement health, safety, and well-being strategies, ensuring compliance with applicable local, state/provence and federal/national laws.
- Develop and implement global health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Monitor compliance with local regulations and global standards.
- Conduct hazard assessments and implement mitigation strategies across corporate workplaces.
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis for workplace safety events.
- Partner with Benefits and Risk Management to oversee incident reporting, injury investigations, and OSHA compliance.
- Manage vendor relationships supporting health, safety, and well-being services.
- Lead WELL certification efforts for corporate office spaces, ensuring alignment with health, sustainability, and occupant experience standards.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure programs remain current.
- Maintain documentation and reporting systems to support audits, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and preparedness.
- Mentor regional safety leads and influence cross-functional teams.
- Champion inclusion and psychological safety in all workplace environments.
- Establish and maintain business continuity and emergency management frameworks.
- Develop playbooks and escalation protocols for critical incidents.
- Lead the Crisis Committee and coordinate disaster response, crisis management, and recovery efforts.
- Support enterprise risk management through scenario planning and tabletop exercises.
- Validate, maintain, and test contingency plans and communication systems.
- Maintain and train personnel on emergency protocols;
Oversee first‑aid and CPR certification programs. - Monitor global threats including natural disasters, political unrest, and travel risks, coordinate communication and response efforts.
- Ensure physical security systems meet internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee physical security protocols, access control systems, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure security staff are trained in emergency procedures, life safety systems, and associated protocols.
- Manage private security operations for the Office of the CEO, including guard force coordination, access control, and incident response.
- Develop and oversee a travel safety program for business travelers, including executives and family members.
- Evaluate and coordinate travel to high‑risk locations, including personal travel for senior leadership.
- Partner with IT and facilities teams to ensure integrated threat detection and response.
- Conduct risk assessments and security audits across sites.
Minimum Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Public Health, Emergency Management or a related field from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience required.
- A NEBOSH Diploma or IOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety or certifications such as a CSP, CHSO, WELL AP, or CEM preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in workplace health and safety leadership roles.
- Proven experience in health and safety, physical security, or operational risk management (ideally in a global or multi‑site context).
