The Senior Manager, Corporate Safety & Security is responsible for designing and leading enterprise-wide programs that ensure safe, secure, and resilient workplaces. This role will develop and manage health and safety strategy, physical security operations, travel risk management, and emergency response programs across the global corporate portfolio, with a focus on scalable standards and thoughtful local adaptations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Safety & Risk Management
Design and implement health, safety, and well-being strategies, ensuring compliance with applicable local, state/providence and federal/national laws.
Develop and implement global health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
Monitor compliance with local regulations and global standards.
Lead incident response and root cause analysis for workplace safety events.
Partner with Benefits, Employee Relations, and Risk Management to support incident reporting, injury investigations, and OSHA compliance.
Collaborate with Location Leaders to conduct hazard assessments and implement mitigation strategies across corporate workplaces.
Manage vendor relationships supporting health, safety, and well-being services.
Lead WELL certification efforts for corporate office spaces, ensuring alignment with health, sustainability, and occupant experience standards.
Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure programs remain current.
Maintain documentation and reporting systems to support audits, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and preparedness.
Security Operations
Develop and oversee physical security protocols and access control systems for corporate offices.
Design and manage private security operations for the Office of the CEO, including guard force coordination, access control, and incident response.
Establish and maintain vendor partner relationships, ensuring that services meet evolving business needs.
Develop and oversee a travel safety program for business travelers, including executives and family members.
Evaluate and coordinate travel to high-risk locations, including personal travel for senior leadership.
Partner with IT and facilities teams to ensure integrated threat detection and response.
Conduct enterprise risk assessments and security audits.
Resilience & Continuity
- Establish enterprise policy and required training surrounding safety and security.
- Establish and maintain business continuity and emergency management frameworks.
- Develop playbooks and escalation protocols for critical incidents.
- Lead the Crisis Committee and coordinate disaster response, crisis management, and recovery efforts.
- Support the aviation program through routine emergency procedure reviews.
- Establish strong relationships and internal partnerships, ensuring a cohesive health and safety program across the enterprise.
- Support enterprise risk management through scenario planning and tabletop exercises.
- Maintain, administer, and test contingency plans and communication systems in collaboration with Internal Communications.
- Maintain and train personnel on emergency protocols;
Oversee first-aid and CPR certification programs. - Monitor global threats including natural disasters, political unrest, and travel risks, coordinate communication and response efforts.
- Ensure physical security systems meet internal standards and regulatory requirements.
Minimum Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Public Health, Emergency Management or a related field from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience required.
