Cobalt is delighted to be partnering with a leading managing agent in their search for a Building Manager to oversee a premium office building in the City of London, comprising circa 120,000 sq. ft. of Grade A space. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven FM professional to take ownership of a high-quality asset and deliver an exceptional occupier experience.
The RoleAs Building Manager, you will take day-to-day responsibility for the operational success of the building, ensuring it remains a first-class workplace environment for its occupiers. You'll be the central point of contact for tenants, service partners, and stakeholders, driving high standards across all aspects of building management.
- Overseeing all day-to-day building operations, ensuring compliance and safety across the property.
- Managing contractors and service providers to deliver a seamless FM service.
- Building strong relationships with occupiers, providing a best-in-class customer experience.
- Supporting the delivery of ESG and sustainability initiatives.
- Assisting with CAPEX projects and operational improvements.
- Working closely with the client to ensure the asset maintains its premium positioning within the market.
- Experience managing commercial office buildings, ideally within the City or wider Central London.
- Strong knowledge of health & safety, statutory compliance, and building operations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach with the ability to influence and lead service providers.
- IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications are desirable.
