ISS is recruiting a Cleaning Operative to join a high-profile government building in Westminster, London SW1P. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to an award-winning team and make your mark.
In this role, you will ensure ISS delivers safe, compliant cleaning services on time, while providing an exceptional customer experience to a high-profile site and its VIP visitors.
Responsibilities- Carry out cleaning duties in line with the work schedule, maintaining high standards at all times
- Clean and maintain all areas including offices, meeting rooms, communal areas, toilets, showers, changing rooms, canteen, gym, stairwells, lifts, car park, and loading bay
- Clean, stock, and replenish tea points and washroom facilities
- Empty and maintain waste and recycling bins
- Ensure cleaning equipment is cleaned after use, stored correctly, and report any faults or breakdowns
- Report building or maintenance issues to the supervisor or line manager
- Follow Health & Safety and COSHH procedures at all times
- Use cleaning chemicals correctly and safely
- A positive, proactive "can-do" attitude with a calm, professional approach
- Reliable, hardworking, and professional at all times
- Able to work to a schedule and use initiative
- A strong team player
- Flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude to change
- Lives within a reasonable commuting distance
- Able to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance in line with customer requirements, Disability Confident
