Team Leader; IAG Cargo

Overview

Working within IAG Cargo, the Team Leader will be responsible for providing daily leadership and continuous guidance to your team, ensuring Health and Safety is paramount during all operational and maintenance activities along with interaction with internal and external customers.

• Providing daily leadership and guidance to the team while prioritising Health and Safety during all operational and maintenance activities.
• Conducting quality audits of work and productivity checks, and taking appropriate action when required.
• Display a willingness to learn and help others grow in their progression.
• Issue PPM work orders to shifts and close off all PCM and CM work orders.
• Attend system outages and assist technicians in resolving faults before escalating to Tech Support.
• Maintain daily reports with system issues and handovers, including raising work orders for the night shift.
• Step in to cover Duty Managers in their absence.
• Attend H&S meetings.
• Night shift: plan shift PPM maintenance and project work including handovers from the day shift; ensure PPM work orders are completed to the required standard; complete and send nightly reports of works performed, including handovers and project work.

• Working in Airports and/or Conveyor Systems in a Supervisory capacity (preferred).
• Multi-skilled Electro/Mech, minimum at senior technician level (preferred supervisory experience).
• Qualifications:
  
  Minimum NVQ 3 Electro/Mech, preferred HNC or equivalent.

• 18th Edition (BS 7671 / wiring regs).
• Experience with in an FMCG manufacturing or automated environment.
• Experience in training/coaching.
