JOB TITLE:
Cleaning operative

LOCATION:
London Energy, Wembley

SHIFT PATTERN:
Monday - Friday 0600 - 1000, 20 hours per week

PAY RATE: £13.15 per hour

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• This role will include a variety of tasks including the following:

• To clean and maintain the site as per scope of works.

• To wear company uniform/PPE at all times whilst on shift.

• To ensure that all cleaning duties are conducted are strictly in accordance with our standards so that quality work is delivered fully meeting/exceeding our client’s expectations.

• To ensure that all work undertaken is strictly conducted in accordance with London Energy and ABM’s Health and Safety procedures. Moreover, to demonstrate their commitment to the fact that each London Energy/ABM employee has a personal responsibility for their own health and safety and for that of persons who may be affected by their acts/or omissions.

• To perform cleaning duties as directed by the site management/supervisory team and ABM contracts manager.

• To consider the work undertaken and wherever opportunities for improvements to working practices exist, putting forward suggestions so that ‘continuous improvement’ is the norm.

• To work in an initiative-taking manner supporting/assisting colleagues whenever in a position to do so.

• To undertake ad hoc duties as directed/ operationally required.

Person Specification:

To ensure exemplary standards in respect of the cleaning service provided at London Energy site and customer service to the public are always delivered. Fellow colleagues are supported and assisted so that teamwork thrives.

The post holder will be hardworking and committed to ensuring the highest cleaning standards are always adhered to. Professional always and proactively interacting with the public as required. A good team player.

Essential:

• Experience of using motorised equipment

• Effective communication skills both verbal and written.

• Good customer care skills
