Cleaner – BD Group

BD Group is hiring part‑time Cleaners to join our professional cleaning team. Whether you’re looking to gain experience or seeking flexible part‑time work, this entry‑level role offers a great introduction to the cleaning industry.

• Deliver high‑quality, client‑focused cleaning services across multiple sites.
• Follow daily and periodic cleaning schedules tailored to each location, including dusting, wiping, and sanitising hard surfaces and other high‑touch areas.
• Safely handle and store cleaning equipment and chemicals in line with COSHH and health & safety regulations.
• Occasionally perform deep cleans or specialised responsive cleaning tasks.

• Positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to different environments.
• Basic understanding of health & safety practices (COSHH knowledge a plus).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Initiative to solve routine issues and adopt safe working practices.
• Communication skills for interacting with stakeholders.
• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not required.
• Willingness to work towards a Health and Safety Level 2 qualification and understand COSHH and cross‑contamination principles in a cleaning context.
• Enhanced DBS check may be required for client requirements.

• Permanent, part‑time (3–10 hours per week depending on site and contract).
