Our client is a highly respected professional regulatory organisation seeking a dedicated and detail-focused Case Officer to join its casework team.
This is a key role responsible for managing a caseload of regulatory matters, supporting investigations, and ensuring cases are progressed fairly, efficiently and in line with statutory requirements.
💥As a Case Officer, you will:
- Manage a caseload of regulatory cases from referral through to conclusion.
- Act as the main point of contact for professionals, complainants, employers and other stakeholders.
- Gather, analyse and assess information and evidence in line with regulatory procedures.
- Draft correspondence, reports and case summaries for internal and external use.
- Prepare case documentation for internal decision-making panels and hearings.
- Liaise with legal advisers, panel members and external parties as required.
- Ensure all casework is conducted in accordance with legislation, policies and internal service standards.
- Maintain accurate records and case management systems.
- Identify risks, issues or delays and elevate appropriately.
- Contribute to service improvement and quality assurance initiatives.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a casework, investigations or regulatory environment.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and professional correspondence and reports.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to analyse complex information and make balanced, evidence-based decisions.
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage sensitively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong IT skills, including experience using case management systems or databases.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
Nice to have:
- Experience working within a professional regulator, membership body or public sector organisation.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks or professional standards.
- Understanding of administrative law or regulatory procedures.
- Experience preparing papers for committees or panels.
