Our client is a highly respected professional regulatory organisation seeking a dedicated and detail-focused Case Officer to join its casework team.

This is a key role responsible for managing a caseload of regulatory matters, supporting investigations, and ensuring cases are progressed fairly, efficiently and in line with statutory requirements.

As a Case Officer, you will:
  • Manage a caseload of regulatory cases from referral through to conclusion.
  • Act as the main point of contact for professionals, complainants, employers and other stakeholders.
  • Gather, analyse and assess information and evidence in line with regulatory procedures.
  • Draft correspondence, reports and case summaries for internal and external use.
  • Prepare case documentation for internal decision-making panels and hearings.
  • Liaise with legal advisers, panel members and external parties as required.
  • Ensure all casework is conducted in accordance with legislation, policies and internal service standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and case management systems.
  • Identify risks, issues or delays and elevate appropriately.
  • Contribute to service improvement and quality assurance initiatives.

What we’re looking for:
  • Experience in a casework, investigations or regulatory environment.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and professional correspondence and reports.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to analyse complex information and make balanced, evidence-based decisions.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage sensitively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong IT skills, including experience using case management systems or databases.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
💥
Nice to have:
  • Experience working within a professional regulator, membership body or public sector organisation.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks or professional standards.
  • Understanding of administrative law or regulatory procedures.
  • Experience preparing papers for committees or panels.
