Interim Senior Legal Counsel Hybrid

6 month + Assignment - Central London - Hybrid (2 days in office) - March 2026 start

Are you a senior commercial technology lawyer looking for a 6 month + assignment in a complex, high-profile environments? This is an opportunity to join a dynamic in-house legal team at the heart of a major national infrastructure programme, playing a pivotal role in shaping the UK’s transition to a smarter, greener future.

As Interim Senior Legal Counsel, you’ll support the senior leadership to deliver pragmatic, strategic legal advice on high-value, technology-driven projects. This will involve:

• Working across multi-million-pound sourcing, outsourcing, and cloud software deals
• Dealing with complex transactions, including negotiating and drafting agreements related to outsourcing, managed services, telecommunications, cloud computing, data hosting, IT infrastructure, software licensing, and information security.
• Advising on regulatory compliance, including privacy laws, data protection (e.g., GDPR), and cybersecurity regulations
• Assist in the management of disputes

• A lawyer with 8+ PQE with strong commercial technology/procurement experience in the TMT sector
• Able to hit the ground running on high-value, complex transactions and commercial agreements, particularly in outsourcing, technology, and telecommunications.
• Strong knowledge of IT law, including software licensing, cloud services, data hosting, networks, and cybersecurity.
• Experience in high-profile, regulated, or politically sensitive environments

On offer is a competitive daily rate, either via an umbrella company or PAYE, with hybrid working of a minimum of 8 days a month in their central London office.
