The Role
- Advising on contentious, advisory, and transactional employment matters
- Handling complex tribunal claims, High Court litigation, and pre‑action correspondence and negotiations
- Providing strategic guidance on cross‑border employment issues, including international restructurings, secondments, and compliance
- Collaborating closely with corporate, regulatory, and tax colleagues on M&A transactions, TUPE transfers, and executive compensation
- Supporting clients across sectors including financial services, technology, life sciences, and professional services
- UK qualification and a strong academic pedigree (2:1 or above from a leading university; LPC or SQE completed)
- Training and experience from a top‑tier UK or international law firm
- Extensive experience handling a diverse caseload of employment matters with minimal supervision
- Exceptional drafting skills and a meticulous attention to detail
- Strong management and leadership capabilities, including mentoring junior lawyers and managing client relationships
