They represent a diverse client base – from high‑net‑worth individuals to vulnerable people lacking capacity – and frequently act as Independent Administrators, Trustees, and Deputies on complex matters involving breach of trust and ownership disputes. You will manage a varied caseload of medium to high‑value disputes in wills, estates, inheritance, and trusts. You'll work alongside renowned experts in the field with strong opportunity for career progression.

• Handle contentious probate disputes for claimants and defendants, including challenges to validity of wills
• Advise on Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 claims
• Manage disputes concerning executors, trustees, and beneficiaries
• Draft pleadings, witness statements and settlement correspondence
• Engage in ADR and attend mediations, hearings, and client conferences
• Maintain compliance and accurate case records
• Collaborate with private client and wider litigation teams
• Stay current with probate legislation and share expertise within the team

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
• 2‑5 years PQE in contentious probate litigation
• Strong advocacy, drafting and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage complex and sensitive matters independently
• Excellent interpersonal and client‑care skills
• Highly organised and able to work to deadlines

• ACTAPS membership or willingness to obtain
• Mediation/ADR experience
• Ability to support business development initiatives
• Exposure to high‑value / cross‑jurisdictional estates
