Where you come in You will work alongside the Underwriting Director for Casualty, taking primary responsibility for FI & D&O lines. You will be chiefly responsible for adherence to the agreed business plan and underwriting performance for this class of business.

• You will work with the Portfolio Management team to define and optimise annual plan strategy based on market conditions.
• With the Underwriting Director you will set underwriting appetite to ensure the KiDS portfolio aligns with it, maintaining a profitable portfolio.
• You will provide leadership and development guidance to directly reporting Underwriters and assist in strategic conversations with Broker partners to communicate underwriting appetite and rationale.
• You will work with the Algorithmic and Pricing teams as the subject matter expert to shape underwriting, pricing and distribution models.
• You will be accountable for providing insight for various committees (Portfolio Underwriting Committee, Underwriting Governance Committee, Performance vs Plan, Reserving Committee, Major Loss Panel).
