  • Manage and develop strategic relationships with Threat Defence vendors and managed security service providers.
  • Contribute to and help shape the Threat Defence and Cyber Security Operations strategy, delivering services through a blended in‑house and outsourced model.
  • Collaborate closely with threat intelligence, incident response, vulnerability management and security testing teams to ensure alignment and effective threat coverage.
  • Engage with local Site Information Security Managers and key stakeholders to ensure consistent, site‑aligned security operations.

What do you need to thrive in this role?

  • Strong knowledge of incident management and cyber incident response.
  • Experience delivering cyber security operations and security engineering services, including SOC, CERT/CIRT/CSIRT, threat intelligence and vulnerability management.
  • Proven experience in service management and operating within outsourced or hybrid security service models.
  • Hands‑on experience managing vulnerability management, security testing and threat management activities.
  • Demonstrated people management experience, leading and developing high‑performing teams.
  • Experience developing, tuning, and continuously improving security tooling, content and detection capabilities.
  • Understanding of the geopolitical threat landscape and its impact on organisational cyber risk.
  • Experience contributing to and delivering cyber defence and threat defence strategies.
  • Proven ability to build operational deliverables, reporting and metrics for cyber security operations.
  • Foreign language skills are advantageous but not essential.
