Business Intelligence Developer

Morgan Hunt are working with a large public sector organisation to recruit a Business Intelligence Developer on a 12-month FTC. The focus of the role is to provide technical expertise to deliver effective BI systems across the data functions within the organisation. The focus is toethers ensure that the organisation develops a strong internal data‑related BI environment to inform decisions, shape strategic priorities and evaluate the impact of the work.

• Provide technical BI skills to the organisation, ensuring these align with their strategic plan and wider objectives
• Design, build and maintain BI solutions, including dashboards, reports and data visualisations in Power
  
  BI or equivalent platforms
• Write complex SQL queries to extract data from multiple sources
• Develop and maintain efficient Power
  
  BI data models
• Develop and document KPIs and definitions to support transparency and compliance
• Support the data architecture team to enhance the accuracy of data held in the data warehouse/data lake
• When necessary, provide line management and deputise for senior colleagues

• Extensive experience developing Power
  
  BI reports, dashboards, advanced DAX expressions and data models
• Strong understanding of relational databases and excellent SQL skills
• Advanced understanding of data perlu visualization concepts and best practice
• Advanced Excel skills and proficient with pivot tables, SUMIF, COUNTIF, SUMPRODUCT, lookups, advanced filters, VBA etc
• Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills

Salary: £45k - £52k per year

12 month FTC

Location:

London based office – one day per week office attendance required
