Role OverviewQuantiphi’s GCP Business Unit is hiring a Sales Director – Player / Coach – to drive strategic growth by leading brand new customer acquisition by leveraging relationships with existing enterprise clients. Guide opportunities from prospecting through negotiation to deal closure for Quantiphi’s data management, AI / ML, and cloud solutions. This position requires a professional who can seamlessly blend the aggressive pursuit of new opportunities with the strategic cultivation of existing relationships to drive sustainable business growth.
Whatyou will do
- Spearhead the full Services Sales cycle: generate leads, develop pipeline, negotiate, and close enterprise deals, often with C-level executives.
- Drive Business Development and achieve ambitious sales targets by delivering value throughout the customer journey.
- Build and deepen existing executive relationships, leveraging cross-functional connections to uncover new business.
- Understand client technology landscape, strategic priorities, and business drivers to position Quantiphi’s cutting‑edge AI solutions.
- Collaborate with internal GTM teams and Alliance partners to maximize results and open opportunities with Fortune 1000 clients.
- Guide account strategy and mentor team members, ensuring growth for both new and existing enterprise accounts.
- Use structured sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger, Solution, SPIN, Target Account Selling) to manage complex sales‑cycles and drive expansion.
- 10+ years of Technology Services Sales or consulting experience, including successful history with F1000 clients.
- Mastery in influencing senior and C‑Level decision makers, understanding organizational needs, and recommending innovative solutions.
- Strong record of “hunter” business development skills with advanced closing capabilities, consistently exceeding revenue objectives.
- Experience selling data management, AI / ML, and cloud Services is highly desirable.
- Experience partnering in selling services with one of the major hyperscalers, GCP, AWS, Azure.
- Excellent verbal / written communication, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Hands‑on knowledge of best‑practice sales methodologies and team‑building skills.
- Proven record of working collaboratively with global internal GTM teams and cloud alliance partners in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to travel up 50% nationally and internationally for GCP conferences, plus other related events as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience working for / in a top tier technology Professional Services firm.
- Familiarity with cloud, data and AI applications like predictive maintenance, network optimization, customer service automation, and fraud detection.
- Working knowledge of AI / ML frameworks and tools (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch, GPT models) and cloud‑based AI solutions (e.g. GCP, AWS, Azure).
- Background in data science or machine learning engineering.
- Awareness of AI governance, ethics, and data privacy regulations.
- Experience in selling and / or managing Data / Platform / Analytics / AI / ML type solutions.
- Experience in managing contractual life cycles including negotiating MSAs, SoWs and commercial constructs.
