The Planning & Operations team sits at the heart of The Telegraph's Commercial Growth division, playing a vital role in the success of our digital advertising business. Our mission is straightforward: to deliver digital advertising campaigns smoothly, accurately, and efficiently. From booking to launch, the team ensures every campaign runs exactly as it should. Working closely with Sales, Ad Tech, and external partners, you'll help turn booked campaigns into live, high-performing activity.

You'll be proactive in keeping processes sharp, solving problems quickly, and protecting revenue by ensuring campaigns deliver against client expectations. Collaboration is central to how we work. The team shares knowledge openly, supports new colleagues to get up to speed quickly, and communicates clearly to ensure the highest professional standards are maintained at all times. If you enjoy combining technical capability with operational excellence and strong internal relationships, this is an opportunity to be part of a team that keeps The Telegraph's digital advertising engine running at its best.

  • Plan, execute, optimise, and report on digital advertising campaigns across Telegraph channels, ensuring smooth delivery from booking through to completion.
  • Work closely with Sales, Insight & Analytics, Campaign Innovation, and Digital Innovations teams to deliver campaigns while identifying proactive ideas, seasonal opportunities, and product innovations.
  • Monitor live campaigns to ensure they perform as expected, making optimisations that support both performance and revenue outcomes.
  • Produce clear, actionable reporting and insights for clients and internal stakeholders, with practical recommendations.
  • Maintain a strong and up-to-date understanding of Telegraph advertising products, formats, and digital channels.
  • Identify and resolve inventory, product, and client challenges efficiently, communicating clearly to protect campaign delivery and revenue.
Spot opportunities to test new formats, improve campaign performance, and drive monetisation across Telegraph platforms. Work collaboratively with others, building strong relationships across internal teams and with clients.
  • Plan, execute, and optimise digital campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prioritise tasks effectively and manage multiple deadlines with strong organisational skills.
  • Follow processes accurately, with close attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently in both written and verbal formats, presenting ideas and recommendations effectively.
  • Adapt positively to change, remaining resilient and maintaining performance under pressure.
  • Use Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite confidently to an intermediate level.
  • Take initiative in problem‑solving, identifying opportunities, resolving challenges, and turning ideas into practical actions.
