DevOps Engineers; DV Security Clearance

Overview

CGI's Space, Defence, and Intelligence business unit is dedicated to delivering cutting‑edge technical solutions that address the most complex challenges faced by government. We are currently seeking a Dev Ops Engineer to join our Secure Innovation & Advisory team, working collaboratively with clients to deliver impactful solutions.

• Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud environments through the full development lifecycle, from development to production.
• Be adaptable and pragmatic in the face of unique challenges, with the ability to pivot quickly as requirements and technologies evolve.
• Foster collaboration by maintaining an approachable and professional demeanor when working directly with clients, representing CGI with integrity and enhancing our reputation.
• Ensure quality is built into every step of the solution, focusing on continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Software Development teams to embed Dev Ops practices and optimize system reliability through monitoring and alerting.

• Expertise in Cloud Technologies: AWS.
• Experience in Agile/Dev Ops Development practices.
• Strong Automation Skills with technologies such as Ansible, Terraform, Cloud Formation, or ARM to provision and manage environments.
• Solid experience with Linux and Windows Operating Systems, including scripting (e.g. Power Shell, Bash).
• Proficiency in Container Technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of setting up and configuring CI/CD Pipelines and tools (e.g. Jenkins, Bitbucket, Sonar Qube).
• Familiarity with Log Collection Technologies and Monitoring Platforms (e.g. ELK Stack, Splunk).
• Development experience with Python, Go or similar.
• Experience with automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.
• Cloud Experience with Azure, GCP, and AWS.

We don't expect candidates to know everything on the list. Experience across multiple areas is desirable, the ability to learn quickly, and a willingness to contribute across the technology stack as required.
