Systems Engineer

Overview

On this onsite role you will own a broad range of technology across the infrastructure. You will work with a new team to tackle every layer of technology, from networking and servers to application services, on prem and cloud, supporting and continually improving the environment. The goal is to build robust, reusable, scalable, automated components while delivering effective solutions and growth opportunities within the team.

• Design, implement, operate, and support technology across multiple layers of the environment.
• Administer systems day to day and support end users.
• Embed into the firm to take on projects across the whole system infrastructure and manage large projects independently over time.
• Onboard with guidance from the team and contribute to researching new approaches, providing innovative solutions, and improving overall technology efficiency.
• Monitor equipment and upgrade workstations, and interact with physical systems as part of day-to-day activities.

• Experience with Linux and/or Windows command line; ability to articulate past work and demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the technology you have worked with.
• Strong problem-solving approach with clear, systematic thinking and a genuine desire to learn and engage with technology.
• Willingness to work onsite and interact with colleagues in the office environment.
