IT Audit Senior Associate; Cayman

Overview

IT Audit Senior Associate (Cayman) – role at Island Paradise Recruitment. IT audit professionals work with clients to solve current challenges and provide insight into future needs. The successful candidate will be involved in IT audit activities with clients in the asset management/investment funds industry and should have a passion for technology and the cryptocurrency space.

• IT Audits:
  Conduct audits of IT systems, platforms, and technologies to assess effectiveness, security, and regulatory compliance, including SOC reporting and ISAE 3402/SSAE
  18 engagements.
• IT Assurance for Financial Audits:
  Support IT assurance efforts for financial audits, including SOC reporting and ISAE 3402/SSAE
  18 engagements.
• Data Analytics and Automation:
  Use data analytics and automation tools to enhance audit efficiency and bring innovative solutions.
• Crypto and Blockchain Audits:
  Perform reconciliations for crypto trades on various platforms back to client records.
• Client Engagement:
  Work with local and international clients across industries (including gaming and financial services) to evaluate technology and cybersecurity controls.
• Team Collaboration and Mentoring:
  Contribute to the IT Assurance team, mentor junior staff, deliver training, and report audit findings and progress to management.

• Recognised accounting qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CA, CA(SA), etc.).
• 3+ years of Big Four experience supporting financial audits, ideally with asset management exposure.
• Experience as an IT Audit Senior supporting financial statements through GITC and automated control reviews.
• Preferred: crypto/digital assets experience.
• Nice to have:
  Experience with SOC reports and ISAE 3000/3402 or SSAE 18 (US equivalents).
