Location: City Of London

Our client is looking for a Java Developer to join them on a contract basis for 6 months, outside IR35 with hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Java (11+) / Spring Boot microservices.
Integrate and deploy AI/ML models into production systems.
Work closely with data science teams to ope rationalise models (APIs, pipelines).
Build and support event-driven architectures (Kafka).
Ensure FS-grade security, compliance, testing, and reliability.
Deploy services to cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) via CI/CD.

Required Skills

Strong Java & Spring Boot engineering background.
Proven experience integrating AI/ML into live applications.
Cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure).
SQL/No

SQL database experience.
Background in Financial Services (payments, trading, risk, fraud, etc).

Nice to Have

Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform.
ML model serving (MLflow, Seldon, Sage Maker).
Experience with low-latency or high-availability FS systems.
