Python Engineer IR35

We’re gearing up for an exciting new project launching in the next couple of weeks and are looking for skilled Python Engineers to join our team on a contract basis (Inside IR35). Given the quick turnaround we’re especially keen to hear from candidates who are immediately available or have a short notice period.

• A passion for engineering and a desire to keep learning
• A focus on writing clear, concise code that is easy to maintain
• An ability to be pragmatic when required and avoid unnecessary “gold‑plating”
• An understanding that quality is everyone’s responsibility and a strong desire to test your own code
• Comfortable working with others in pairing or mobbing scenarios
• A good communicator who shares our values of openness and respect

• Experienced in Python, specifically the Django framework
• Experience with Next.js and Type Script with Tailwind
• Experience designing and writing APIs, especially REST APIs
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD via Git Hub Actions pipelines
• Experience working with AWS
• Experienced in Terraform

• Experience with Wagtail CMS
• Experience with FastAPI
• Experience working in the public sector
• Experience working in a technology or consulting company
