About the Role

We are recruiting a Reception Manager at the Royal National Hotel. You will work with a reception team and 2 other managers to deliver a memorable guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Front Office Management team in delivering quality service, holding regular team meetings to agree on operational focus, KPI and targets.
  • Handle guest complaints promptly and ensure satisfactory resolution.
  • Collect guest satisfaction data and develop improvement plans.
  • Ensure the front desk provides professional and friendly service.
  • Schedule staff rotations and provide cover as needed.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop front‑of‑house team members.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous experience as a Reception Supervisor or Front‑of‑House supervisor.
  • Passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences.
  • Commercial focus with ability to maximise profits; knowledge of budgets, P&L, forecasting desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport.
  • Organised multitasker capable of prioritising workload.
  • Leadership skills to motivate staff.
  • Positive, calm under pressure; able to work independently and in a team.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation systems (Opera).
