We seek a passionate, enthusiastic hospitality professional to manage and execute events for our clients.
Purpose of the role
We are looking for an exceptional freelance hospitality manager who will oversee event delivery and execution across multiple London sites. The successful candidate will have at least three years of hospitality management experience. Responsibilities include client liaison, team management, maintaining high service standards, and working closely with sales, planning, and operations for seamless handovers.

- Oversee opening and closing procedures at all events
- Deliver effective team briefs and maintain standards
- Ensure food and beverage requirements meet client requests
- Collaborate with planning team pre‑event for seamless transitions
- Coordinate with operations and set‑up staff to meet venue standards
- Enforce health and safety requirements during events
- Motivate colleagues to provide exceptional service aligned with our vision
- Deliver all allocated events to venue high standards
- Run events to highest standards with full preparation
- Maintain venue integrity and complete all paperwork promptly
- Act as excellent brand ambassador for Flutes
- Experience and training in catering and events industry
- Authoritative, persuasive, and decisive leadership skills
- Confidence to act as MC when required
- Excellent attention to detail and planning abilities
- Proven management of time and staff in fast‑paced environments
- Exceptional customer handling skills and responsiveness
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage time and drive teams
- Flexible and adaptable, with coaching ability
- Accountable for personal and departmental performance
- Hours:
evenings, weekends, and additional time when needed - All applicants must be aged 18 or over due to alcohol service requirement
- Excellent pay £17.00 – £19.00 per hour (based on factors)
